Tribe days | What and how?

"Raising the bar for Java Software Development" is the mission of Continuum and all its employees. To deliver on this every day, we rely on the Software Craftsmanship model:
  • Well Crafted software; clear and reusable code written according to a set of principles and best practices
  • Steadily adding value; delivering what customers need. This is not necessarily what the customer initially requested.
  • A community of professionals; sharing our expertise and learning from others
  • Productive partnerships; building long-term relationships with employees and customers

Raising the bar for Java Software Development

One of the most important characteristics of a software crafter is his broad basic knowledge. A software crafter needs to have encountered as many aspects of an IT project as possible in order to do a job well. It is only possible to become an expert in a domain if you can also compare with alternatives or other solution domains. That's where a true crafter, among other things, can make the difference.

At Continuum, we support our employees (and their professionalism) in a variety of ways. One of those ways is the organization of Tribe Days. Several times a year, our people get together in the office to exchange views and share and/or expand their knowledge. The sessions are very diverse, ranging from deeply technical about project approaches to just plain fun.
