The organization
Finally, after so many months of working from home and only virtual events, we got to organize another physical team building.
At Continuum, we value participation, involvement and engagement from our Crafters, so those interested were first crowned members of the celebration committee.
Heads were put together, a date was set and the activity chosen was a golf initiation followed by a barbecue and an evening of board games. The party committee held several online meetings before the event, preparing everything to perfection and leaving nothing to chance!

Corona measures
To make the event as corona-proof as possible, our employees were allowed to choose whether to either show their CoronaSafe app with proof of double vaccination, or take a self-test. Of course, mouth masks were also provided for them to put on indoors; if the distance was sufficient, the mouth mask could be omitted.

A day of fun
Place to be: Flanders Nippon Golf Club in Hasselt
After the reception we were divided into 4 groups and under the guidance of experienced golf instructors we were introduced to the wonderful world of putting, chipping and swing technique. Some succeeded better than others (that's putting it mildly!).

BBQ BuffetÂ
After this successful activity (under a bright sunshine), it was time for a nice, tasty barbecue. There was something for everyone!
During dinner, there was also a quiz provided to get to know the new colleagues better and we were able to taste beers from the Valduc brewery.

Of course an award ceremony was not to be missed. Both the winners of the quiz and the winners of the golf finals received a nice prize from us.

After dessert, there was still time for a game or just socializing.
As we headed home, everyone received a nice souvenir to take home, namely Continuum golf balls.

Of course, the photographers on duty could not be missing. They both captured everything on film throughout the day! There were mood shots as well as new profile photos for our employees.
